Vegan Bailey's Irish Cupcakes

Serves: 12 cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 Recipe Chocolate Cake
- 1 Recipe Buttercream
- Bailey's Vegan Irish Cream ½ cup (120ml)
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate cake recipe according to the instructions on that recipe post and bake the batter into cupcake liners in a preheated 350°F oven for approximately 20 minutes or until springy to the touch when you gently press the centers
- Meanwhile prepare the Buttercream recipe and add the cooled cocoa paste and the Vegan Bailey's Irish Cream liquor mix well
- Make the Beer Mugs as shown in the video *optional or decorate as you like!

Can I omit the flax meal for the cake and substitute the shortening with butter for the buttercream? It’s hard to find those two things in here.
