Hi Gretchen. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipes, just bought your book, can’t wait to get it, even though I’m not a vegan, any recipe of yours that I’ve made comes out amazing! Quick question for you, do these cookies travel well? My sister-in-law is vegan, so I want to send her cookies for Xmas and want to make sure they don’t fall apart. Do you have any tips or cookie recipes that would work?
Gretchen
aweee! THANK YOU!!! Yes all of these cookies will last for over a week in an airtight container, even the meringues stayed crispy for me for the 4 days it took me to eat them all! LOL
I have never had success shipping cookies though, Ive tried to mail to my mom in FL with bubble wrap, super extra wrapping and they all arrived broken anyway 🙁 I think they play football with the packages

Great collection. I’ve already made the gingerbread (I was scared by the black pepper but trusted and wow), and the sugar cookies. I like your comments about having the cookie dough be less sugary, especially when decorating with your super sweet delicious royal icing. I took it a step further subbing half the sugar with a new sugar substitute called Swerve made in New Orleans which came out delicious.
After those successes, now I’m going to make up your Spritz, Gingersnaps, and Butter Pecan cookies.
These easy and delicious cookies prove beyond any doubt that you do not need eggs and dairy to indulge in great cookies everyone will love.
